The Buchner funnel is usually used in filtration. There is a glass frit disc plate on Top of the funnel with he pore diameter from 10 to 20 With lower ground taper inner joint and a side glass hose connection with 10 mm O.D at the largest serration. Not recommended for filtration where pressure would exceed 15psi. Laboy glass flasks are heavy wall designed, made by hand-blowing to ensure uniform wall thickness, made of high-quality borosilicate glass and annealed at 800 degree Celsius, can be heated directly in an open flame and can withstand typical laboratory thermal variations in Chemistry processes like heating and cooling.

• INTEGRATED VACUUM SIDE ARM: Features a built-in 10mm (approx. 3/8") O.D. hose barb at the largest serration. We recommend using 5/16" to 3/8" I.D. flexible vacuum tubing to ensure a secure, airtight seal. Allows direct filtration into a standard 24/40 flask.
• MEDIUM POROSITY (G3): Equipped with a 90mm O.D. sintered glass frit with G3 porosity (10-15 μm). The industry standard for general filtration, ideal for medium to fine crystalline precipitates and mercury filtration. Balances flow rate with high retention.
• PRECISION GROUND JOINTS: Features a standard taper 24/40 inner joint, precisely ground to ensure an airtight seal with reaction flasks or boiling flasks. The 90mm disc diameter provides maximum surface area for high-volume filtration.
• SAFETY & USAGE: Designed for vacuum filtration applications. While heat-resistant, fritted glassware should not be subjected to direct flame or rapid temperature changes under vacuum to prevent thermal shock. Inspect for cracks before use under pressure.
