The Laser 8070 has been developed to allow the user to securely lock the flywheel or Flexi-plate on the manual and automatic Compatible with Jaguar and Compatible with Land Rover diesel engines listed below. The 8070 allows the very tight front crankshaft pulley fixing to be removed when carrying out front crankshaft oil seal replacement or timing belt change. The Laser 8070 provides a safe and secure solution that would normally require 2 separate OEM tools to cover the applications listed.
- Crankshaft locking tool via the flywheel ring gear or flexi-plate. Bolts in place of the starter motor to lock the engine.
- Compatible with Jaguar applications include: Compatible with Jaguar F-Pace (from 2016), S-Type (2004 to 2008), XF (from 2008), XJ (from 2010) and XJ6 (2005 to 2010).
- Compatible with Land Rover applications include: Discovery (from 2004), Range Rover (from 2006), Range Rover Sport (from 2005) and Range Rover Velar (from 2017).
- Equivalent to OEM 303-1243 and 303-1123. Engine codes covered include: 2.7L - 276DT (7B/7G), 3.0L – AJ-V6D(306DT), 3.6L – 368DT and 4.4L – 448DT.
